The Great Commission instructs us to make disciples by reaching and teaching all people with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ, at home and in the nations beyond (Romans 10:13-15).
Grace Evangelical Free Church of Fridley has a long history of sending and supporting missionaries around the world. The missions team invites one and all to participate! Whether it is volunteering for an hour at the Thrift Store in Robbinsdale, praying, hosting an international student, or offering your advice and encouragement as a member of the Missions Team, all are vital to our goal of spreading the gospel.
Missions Team
Grace Evangelical Free Church helps support over 35 missionaries, agencies, and short-term teams who are sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. These people are an extension of our local church family as they share the gospel locally, nationally, and internationally. We focus on prayer, financial giving, teaching, training, and providing workers.

Mission Statement: A Christian community providing housing and meaningful employment, trusting God to transform prisoners’ lives through Bible study, personal accountability, service and fellowship.
Camp Shamineau
A family campground located in Motley, MN. Several of our students volunteer at the camps each summer.
Minnesota Coalition for Eastern Europe
in partnership with the the Legacy Thrift Center (formerly known as Bibles for Missions Thrift Store) in Robbinsdale.
Bethany Baptist Church
Our sister church, Bethany Baptist Church, in Riga, Latvia, was started in 1965. Prior to that time, believers often had to meet in secret. Since 2000, Grace has helped support their efforts to reach out to their neighbors with the love and gospel of Jesus. Often, we send workers and materials to partner with Bethany as they put on a week-long Green Camp for children or teens, many of whom have never heard about Jesus.
Vacation Bible Camp
The Good Samaritan Society Mission Village in Fiditi, Nigeria is the site of the Vacation Bible Camp, started in 2010. The GEFC team spends months preparing to share the gospel with children.
Mission Clinic
Another exciting project is the TGSSA Mission Clinic in Fiditi, Nigeria. Serving people by the grace and power of God, the Clinic is staffed five days a week. The doctor has clinic hours on certain days and is on-call for help when needed.
