Steve Schoepf
Steve hails from Iowa, but has made Minnesota his home for most of his adult life. He graduated from Northwestern College (UNWSP) in Roseville and Western Seminary in Portland, OR. He has pastored churches mostly in Minnesota, but also Kansas and Iowa. Grace, Fridley, is his second interim pastorate, with more ahead.
As Grace's interim pastor, Steve intends to prepare the church for a God-blessed transition to "Pastor Next."
Steve (and his wife, Linda) enjoy casual walks, bike-riding, disc-golfing and spending time with their three kids and spouses, and six grandchildren.
Scot Hintermeyer
Director of Administration and the Arts
I joined the staff team at Grace on May 1, 1995 as the Director of Music and Worship. Today, administrative oversight of the church is also part of my responsibilities.
I am a graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead, with a degree in Music. I conduct the Grace Chorale and Orchestra and plan and direct the musical components related to worship.
I enjoy music of all styles, and I am always willing to share quality puns. I play guitar and trumpet and love to play with a brass choir and jazz group.
I have been married to Debbie 40+ years, and we have 3 adult children, 1 grandchild, and one on the way.
Noah Bock
Director of Student Ministries
I’ve been attending Grace nearly continuously since I was about five years old. I was ministered to by so many fine folks, many of whom I now consider friends and peers. It sounds like a cliche, but Grace is my family’s other family. I’m happy to have served at every level of Grace’s ministry, from the nursery to the elder board; and I’ll serve in this role as long as it makes sense.
Mariya Wiens
Director of Children’s and Parenting Ministries
I joined Grace as the Apprentice Director of Children’s and Parenting Ministries in February of 2022. I have been volunteering both as a Sunday School teacher and camp volunteer for the past three years. I greatly enjoy spending time with children and witnessing their growth, both physically and spiritually.
I have grown overseas as a missionary child which has allowed me to gain many diverse experiences with different kinds of people. I have recently moved back to the US in order to receive a Christian education.
I am currently studying to become a professional violinist as well as to learn how to continue to spread the gospel to people from all backgrounds and life situations.
My interests include music, journalism, reading, and embroidery work.
